Hybrid hydrogen station
The JHFC Centrair Hydrogen Station produces hydrogen on-site by reforming natural gas; using this as the base load, byproduct hydrogen attained off-site is combined and utilized, making this the domestic hybrid-type hydrogen station. The JHFC Centrair Hydrogen Station has reconstructed(replaced) from the JHFC EXPO 2005 Hydrogen Refueling Station / Seto-South(Operated: March-September 2005).
With a dual hydrogen supply source, a high level of supply reliability has been secured, and the auxiliary use of off-site hydrogen has made possible the highly efficient operation of the on-site natural gas reforming hydrogen production facility.
The station has largest hydrogen supply capacity in Japan(100kg/day), and is the first hydrogen station that complies with hydrogen station technical standards stipulated in the amendment of the high pressure gas safety laws.
